NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF JRG DUBAI EYES ‘MISSION SUSTAINABILITY’

JRG Dubai, the emirate’s leading homegrown hospitality management company, has appointed industry stalwart Spencer Ayers as its new Managing Director.

Ayers assumes the role after amassing three decades of senior-level food and beverage sector experience at the UAE’s Bateel International LLC, Le Pain Quotidien and AlShaya Group International, as well as various positions in the United Kingdom.

ORANGE COUNTY CALIFORNIA SETS TOURISM RECORD: ATTRACTS 50+ MILLION VISITORS IN 2018

According to the Orange County Visitors Association (OCVA), Orange County, in Southern California, welcomed a record-breaking 50.16 million visitors in 2018 according to a preliminary report on visitation. This tremendous milestone brought with it impressive visitor spending of more than USD $13 billion. The 50+ million visitor achievement reflects a 1.6% increase in visitation over 2017 figures.
